Lemon Bavarian Cream
1 tablespoon gelatine
2 tablespoons cold water
3/4 cup boiling water
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup (1/2 pint) whipping cream
Add gelatine to cold water and soak 5 minutes. Add combined boiling water, sugar and lemon rind. Add lemon juice and salt. Allow to stand in cool place
and partially set. Beat until light and fluffy. Fold in whipped cream. Place in moistened mold and chill until firm.
Unmold and garnish with cherries. Serves 6.
